Stationery Upper Nozzle Insert
The stationary nozzle within the tundish lining directs molten steel into the exchangeable nozzle. It features a zirconia insert embedded in a high-alumina body. Based on customer requirements, we offer the zirconia insert separately or co-molded with the alumina body. Co-molded bodies undergo precision grinding to ensure optimal surface contact and performance.
Stationery Lower Nozzle Insert
Located at the tundish base, the hydraulically actuated exchangeable nozzle ensures an undisturbed steel stream. These nozzles incorporate a zirconia insert within a high-alumina body. Customers can choose between standalone zirconia inserts or co-molded assemblies, with co-molded designs precision-ground for superior surface contact and durability.
